Faema Culinary Academy is in the heart of the Ford Motor Company heritage building, which is now the home of Faema Canada. It has a backdrop of automotive relics and pieces from the past that are juxtaposed by modern fixtures, glass walls, glossy concrete floors and state-of-the-art restaurant equipment.
The ambiance could be described as post-industrial modern, but baring all the warmth that one would want, thanks to all the natural light, the never ending aroma of espresso and freshly baked pizza as well as the vibrant people that give the building life.
Its location couldn’t be better. Centralized in downtown-ish Toronto, the building sits at Dupont and Christie and has a HUGE parking lot (for Toronto standards, it’s impressive), with tons of transit options to choose from and perfect for pedestrians to walk to.
While, the FCA is known for it’s top notch Italian culinary classes, this place needs to be recognized for its celebratory potential. Did you know that you could book private classes or events with your friends, family or as a company?
