The ABCs of Coffee with Academia Trucillo

Last year Faema Canda was excited to welcome the team from Caffe Trucillo by way of Salerno, Italy.   

Roasted in Salerno, Italy, and certified by the Italian National Espresso Institute, Café Trucillo has taken espresso coffee beans to new heights. Trucillo coffee beans are selected with utmost care, and the Italian roast coffee is crafted from a careful selection of top-quality Robustas and Arabicas. 

 The two day course featured a comprehensive look at the art of espresso, covering such topics as ethical bean cultivation, optimal growing climates, and the techniques behind perfect extraction.

On top of technical demonstrations, students were invited to have their own hands on experience with resident baristas, learning the subtleties and  and focus behind latte art.

Be sure to check out the next instalment of the FCA's guest series, the ABC's of Espresso being hosted as a 3 hour evening consumer course on February 6th, and a 6 hour daytime professional series course on February 8th.

These events are perfect idea for date night, family outings, and get-togethers with friends. Larger groups can be booked in advance to accommodate parties and corporate functions. The FCA is a great team-building environment and our state of the art facility is available for rental as well.
